Membership
For more than 50 years, NAWIC has helped women take advantage of the opportunities in construction. Whether you want to embark on a new career, establish a networking base, be a mentor/mentee, make a difference in your community, continue your education, or invest in great friendships, NAWIC offers a variety of opportunities – large and small. Our membership is comprised of a diverse group of women in all facets of the construction industry including skilled trades, architecture, engineering, general contractors, business owners, attorneys, consultants, etc. Membership is open to all women in any discipline associated with construction.
Benefits of Membership
Networking: Monthly membership meetings, regional conferences and national convention provides opportunities for developing and broadening your contacts in the construction industry.
Education/Professional Development: NAWIC's commitment to education and professional development can be seen throughout a variety of areas. NAWIC offers educational and professional development enrichment seminars to its members through monthly chapter meetings, regional conferences and national conventions. The NAWIC Education Foundation offers accredited programs administered through Clemson University.
Support: Members can find support through local chapter involvement. Chapters offer numerous volunteer and leadership opportunities. In addition chapters are a great way to build friendships with peers in the industry.
